Integrating OpenClass Into CodeBrave’s Web Development Program

For the past two years, CodeBrave has leveraged OpenClass as a core component of its web development scholarship program, designed for exceptionally bright and motivated youth.

“We use the tool as a complement to their live classes,” explains Eliana Sleiman, Head of Education at CodeBrave. “After class, students are assigned lessons on OpenClass to review material, complete assignments, and allow teachers to assess their understanding.”

Before adopting OpenClass, instructors relied on PDFs and external coding environments, making learning cumbersome.

“Prior to using OpenClass, our teachers used to send lessons as PDFs, upload them to a drive, and share links with students,” Sleiman recalls. “Assignments were sent separately, and students had to manually submit their work via links or pasted code. With OpenClass, we now have everything in one place.”
